NIVIS (“we”, “us”) operates https://www.nivis.ca(the “Site”). This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

When you submit the contact or audit forms on this Site, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, email address, business name, phone number (if given), and the contents of your message. We don't collect this information unless you choose to submit it.

We also use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic patterns, such as which pages are visited and which country visitors are browsing from. This does not identify you personally.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to:

• Respond to your inquiry or request for a free audit
• Put together a quote or proposal for your business
• Follow up about a project you've asked about

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your separate consent.

Who we share it with

Form submissions are delivered to our inbox using Resend, an email delivery service, solely for the purpose of receiving your message. The Site is hosted on Vercel. Neither provider is authorized to use your information for their own purposes.

Data retention

We keep inquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, for the duration of our working relationship plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. You can request deletion at any time, see below.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do so, email elijah@nivis.ca.

We may update this policy occasionally. The “last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision.
